So a couple weeks ago, I went on my first adult 'Solo Trip' and if I had to sum it up in three words I would have to say, It Was Amazing!
I originally flew into London to attend my cousins wedding and of course meet up with my best friend Sascha. The wedding was beautiful and being able to be reunited with my family is always a blessing. I ended up dancing the night away with my grandmother and Sascha and I stayed the weekend at the Le Meridien Piccadilly which is in the center of London. While I was there I also got to meet up with one of my friends that I met in Amsterdam earlier this year. We hit Shoreditch which has definitely developed over time. We went to Box Park and Brick Lane and spent the evening enjoying the food and people.
I was originally going on this trip with a friend, and we had planned to spend 4 days in Barcelona, however when I found out that my friend couldn't come a few days before it was time to go, I rearranged my plans. I thought of places that I wanted to go and was willing to go by myself and while I still wanted to visit Spain, Italy was calling my name. I've travelled to Italy before, Rome, Florence, Milan, Bologna, all which were very beautiful places and left such an impression on me that I decided that that was where I wanted to go.
